Technology Verticals
EIGHT
VERTICALS.
One Firm.
M7 deploys across every major frontier technology — not as theorists, but as hands-on builders who have shipped real work for real brands. Six years. Eight verticals. One firm that stays in the room until something is built.
How M7 Is Different
NARROW
BY Design.
Most firms go wide. They’ll take any technology engagement, build any deck, advise on any trend. M7 went the other direction on purpose. Eight verticals. Deep expertise in each. No generalists on client work.
The decision to stay narrow was made on day one and has never changed. It’s what allows M7 to be genuinely ahead in each category — not just tracking the trend, but building at the frontier of it while the category is still forming. By the time a technology becomes mainstream boardroom conversation, M7 has already been living in it for two or three years.
“We’re only going to be AI. We’re only going to be AR/VR. We’re only going to be voice and IoT and how the internet evolves. We stayed super narrow — and that’s what made us.”

ARTIFICIAL
Intelligence.
AI isn’t a service M7 added when it became fashionable. It’s been the firm’s central operating thesis since 2019. M7 built an Alexa skill for E-Trade before most brands had figured out how to spell “voice strategy.” The firm was advising on AI-first search before CMOs knew what GEO meant. The advantage now is the same as it always has been: M7 has been living in this space long enough to tell signal from noise.
Today M7’s AI practice covers the full stack — from executive education and AI strategy through GenAI integration, brand-specific model development, and the fast-emerging discipline of Generative Engine Optimization. As agentic AI begins to reshape how consumers discover, evaluate, and buy, M7 is already building the frameworks to navigate it.
What M7 Does in AI
AI-First Search Strategy
GEO, AEO, and LLM brand visibility. Ensuring your brand is findable, credible, and accurately represented inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and every major generative engine.
GenAI Integration Roadmaps
Vendor-agnostic evaluation and implementation of the right AI stack for your organization: not Gemini vs. Claude vs. GPT, but which combination serves your specific use cases.
Custom Model Development
Brand-specific AI applications trained on your data, your voice, and your operational context — built to perform where generic models fall short.
Agentic AI Navigation
Strategy for the next wave: how to position your brand, your content, and your customer experience for a world where AI agents are making purchase decisions on behalf of humans.
AI Executive Education
Keynotes, workshops, and ongoing thought leadership programs that bring entire organizations up to speed — from C-suite to frontline teams.
Client Signal · Cox Automotive
NAVIGATING THE INVISIBLE CONSUMER JOURNEY
When Cox Automotive’s CMO flagged that 1% of web traffic was coming from AI-driven search and suggested cutting GEO investment, M7 stepped in: 3 billion monthly queries in AI-first search, 800M GPT users looking at your brand daily — and when it kicks to a website, it means the AI failed. M7 reframed the entire measurement model.
★ Early & Right
M7’s 2024 prediction: AI models would reach technological parity — the model you choose would matter less than whether you’re using one at all. Fast forward: Cox Automotive now runs a multi-model stack (Anthropic + others), and CHANEL is asking M7 to define their AI tech stack. The firms that acted in 2024 are a year ahead of the ones acting now.
WHAT M7 DOES IN AR / VR / MIXED REALITY:
AR Commerce & Virtual Try-On
Product try-on experiences built for web, social (Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok), and standalone apps. Proven to convert — M7’s Bollé build is the benchmark.
Luxury & Flagship Brand Experiences
Immersive AR experiences for prestige brands where fidelity, aesthetics, and cultural resonance are the primary KPIs. World-first executions for clients like CHANEL.
Enterprise Mixed Reality
AR applications for construction, training, and operational environments where precision, accuracy, and reliability matter more than visual polish.
Spatial Computing Strategy
Roadmapping for the Apple Vision Pro era: which brand experiences translate to spatial, how to build for it now, and what to wait for.
Headset & Wearable Readiness
Live demos and strategic briefings on the current hardware landscape — Vision Pro, Meta Ray-Bans, and the device pipeline M7 monitors constantly.
Case Study · Bollé Nevada Goggles
AWARD-WINNING AR THAT REWROTE THE COMMERCE PLAYBOOK
When COVID eliminated in-store try-on — Bollé’s highest-converting sales mechanism — M7 built a virtual AR try-on before the category existed at scale. The result was a Webby Award and a stat no one expected.
456% YoY sales growth — the only change was M7’s AR
★ Early & Right
M7 called the eyewear AR moment in 2022: no AI wearable would succeed until it was fashionable, functional, and cost-feasible simultaneously. When Meta released Ray-Bans, M7 said immediately: this is it. They’ve now sold 8M units. Apple Glasses are coming. Google is partnering with Warby Parker. The tipping point M7 predicted is arriving now.
02
Vertical 02
AR / VR /
Mixed Reality.
M7’s AR/VR practice is the one with the hardware shelf full of every headset, wearable, and spatial computing device that has shipped in the last six years. The firm doesn’t advise on augmented reality from a distance — it builds it. The Bollé Nevada AR try-on won a Webby Award and drove 456% year-over-year sales growth. The CHANEL SnowGlobe was the first Snapchat experience to use haptic shake as a trigger — a world first.
Today the practice spans retail try-ons, enterprise mixed reality, luxury brand experiences, and spatial computing — with M7 tracking the Meta Ray-Ban trajectory, Apple Glasses development, and the tipping point where eyewear becomes the dominant AR form factor.

Vertical 03
IOT &
Physical AI.
The Internet of Things is no longer a futuristic concept — it’s the physical infrastructure of modern brand experience. M7 has been building connected device ecosystems since the firm’s founding, when NFC activations for Suffolk Construction generated 80,000 interactions in two weeks and a Pulte Homes Alexa skill became one of the first native brand skills ever published.
Today the practice extends into Physical AI — sensor-driven environments where AI processes real-world inputs in real time, bridging the gap between digital intelligence and physical space. This is the frontier where retail, construction, hospitality, and residential living are all converging.
What M7 Does in IoT & Physical AI
NFC-Powered Physical Activations
Near-field communications experiences that connect physical locations, products, or signage to digital brand touchpoints — driving engagement without requiring an app download.
Connected Device Ecosystems
Brand-owned IoT infrastructure: smart home integrations, connected retail, and sensor networks that create seamless physical-digital brand experiences at scale.
Physical AI Strategy
Roadmapping for AI that operates in the real world: computer vision, ambient sensors, edge AI — and how brands can deploy them meaningfully rather than experimentally.
Construction & Enterprise IoT
Applied IoT for non-consumer environments: job site engagement, building intelligence, operational data capture, and community-facing experiences during long-build projects.
Smart Property Integration
Voice and IoT integration for residential and commercial properties — from Alexa-native smart home skills to connected building management systems.
Case Study · Suffolk Construction
80,000 INTERACTIONS — 14 DAYS
M7 built NFC and AR activations for Suffolk’s active job sites — turning construction fences into interactive digital touchpoints for the surrounding community. Passersby scanned NFC chips to access AR experiences keeping them informed, entertained, and engaged throughout the build.
80K – activations in 14 days at launch.
★ Early & Right
M7 built Pulte Homes’ Alexa skill as one of the first-ever native brand skills — meaning users invoke it by brand name, not a generic command. Average of 300 custom intents per build. At the time, major brands hadn’t recognized that voice was a branding surface. Now every smart home platform competes for native skill real estate.
WHAT M7 DOES IN VOICE TECHNOLOGY:
Native Brand Skills
Brand-owned Alexa and Google Assistant skills that don’t require a third-party trigger word — users invoke by brand name directly. One of the most powerful brand identity assets in ambient computing.
Personalized Voice Experiences
Custom intents, dynamic content, and data-connected voice applications that treat each user as an individual — not a generic audience segment. Average 300+ custom intents per M7 build.
Flash Briefing Strategy
Daily or weekly audio content designed for the Alexa flash briefing format: short, high-value, brand-owned, and habit-forming for high-frequency customers.
Ambient Computing Readiness
Voice strategy for the ambient AI era: always-on devices, earable computing, and voice-first interfaces that are reshaping how customers interact with brands at home, in cars, and in retail.
Voice Commerce Integration
Frictionless voice-enabled purchasing and loyalty experiences — built for the customer who would rather ask than tap.
Case Study · E*Trade + Pulte Homes
THE PITCH THAT WENT TO THE CEO
A personalized Alexa flash briefing for E-Trade’s top 1% of traders — their portfolio, their positions, every morning. Pitched up the chain from media head to CMO to CEO Karl Rosner. The room’s reaction: “Who the hell are you?” The answer was the genesis of M7.
300 average custom intents per brand skill build
★ Early & Right
M7 was building native brand voice skills in 2017–2018 when flash briefings represented 75% of Alexa’s platform usage. The firms that acted then owned the category. Today, with conversational AI embedded in every device, the principle hasn’t changed — brand voice real estate is still first-come, first-served.
04
Vertical 04
VOICE
Technology.
Voice was M7’s first major vertical and remains one of its deepest. The firm built personalized Alexa flash briefings for E-Trade’s high-value trading customers before most agencies had a voice practice. The E-Trade pitch — personalized portfolio briefings for customers who checked their money 65 times a day — traveled from the head of media all the way to the CEO. That’s when M7 knew voice was not a gimmick.
Today the practice spans Alexa and Google Assistant brand skills, ambient computing strategy, and the convergence of voice with AI — where conversational interfaces are becoming the primary way that consumers interact with both brands and information. M7 builds for where voice is going, not where it’s been.
05
Vertical 05
WEB3
& NFC.
M7’s Web3 practice was built with the same discipline it applies to every vertical: separate the signal from the noise before the market figures out which is which. The firm was building token-gated experiences and NFC activations during the NFT peak — and more importantly, it was building the infrastructure and strategic thinking that survives when the hype cycle ends.
The durable thesis: digital ownership, verifiable scarcity, and near-field physical-digital bridges are permanent features of the consumer landscape — regardless of what Bitcoin is doing. NFC and tokenization are the mechanics. Community, loyalty, and exclusivity are the outcomes.
What M7 Does in Web3 & NFC
Token-Gated Experiences
Brand-controlled access, rewards, and community features that use blockchain verification to create genuine exclusivity — without the complexity that alienates mainstream consumers.
NFT Strategy & Execution
Utility-first NFT programs: digital collectibles, loyalty tokens, and brand assets that deliver real value to holders rather than speculative upside.
NFC Physical Activations
Near-field communications deployments that connect physical products, packaging, venues, and environments to digital brand experiences — no app required.
Phygital Commerce Architecture
The bridge between physical and digital retail: NFC-tagged products, digital certificates of authenticity, and connected customer journeys that span channels.
Web3 Loyalty Program Design
Points systems, community membership, and engagement programs that use blockchain rails for genuine permanence and portability — not just rebranded punch cards.
Case Study · Suffolk Construction
NFC THAT MADE CONSTRUCTION SITES A DESTINATION
NFC chips embedded in physical fencing at active Suffolk job sites turned construction barriers into interactive digital portals — community-facing AR and information experiences that turned a brand liability (noise, disruption) into a brand asset.
80K NFC activations in the first two weeks of launch.
★ Early & Right
M7’s durable Web3 thesis: ignore price speculation, focus on what blockchain actually enables — verifiable ownership, portable identity, and programmable loyalty. The brands that built utility-first Web3 programs in 2021–2022 now own the most advanced loyalty infrastructure in their categories.
What M7 Does in Drone Technology
Commercial Content Production
Aerial cinematography for brand campaigns, social content, and broadcast — shot, edited, and delivered for multi-platform use from a single production run.
Agricultural Drone Surveys
Precision aerial coverage of farming operations, supply chain facilities, and ingredient sourcing locations — for brands with authenticity and sustainability stories to tell visually.
Site Intelligence & Inspection
Commercial aerial surveys for construction, real estate, infrastructure, and enterprise sites — delivering data and imagery at a fraction of the cost and time of traditional methods.
Broadcast-Ready Delivery
Drone content produced to broadcast standards — color grade, format specs, and resolution requirements for national television, streaming, and major digital platforms.
Brand Storytelling From the Air
Aerial perspectives that tell brand stories no other medium can — origin sourcing, manufacturing, community presence, and scale that audiences feel as well as see.
Case Study · Panera Bread
7 FARMS. 2 DAYS. NATIONAL TV.
M7 and PDS flew unmanned aerial vehicles over Panera’s farms in Yuma, Arizona — capturing the 100% clean ingredient sourcing story from above. The content ran across social, digital, and a 30-second television spot that reached millions.
7 — Panera farms filmed in 2 days — TV, social & digital.
★ Early & Right
M7 was deploying drones for commercial brand content before drone cinematography was a standard production line item. The Panera campaign proved the model: one aerial production run, content that performs across every channel simultaneously, at a fraction of traditional production cost. The format is now standard. M7 has been doing it for years.
06
Vertical 06
DRONE
Technology.
M7’s drone practice isn’t hobbyist aerial photography — it’s precision content production and agricultural data capture at commercial scale. The firm deployed unmanned aerial vehicles over seven Panera farms in Yuma, Arizona in two days — the footage went to social, digital, and a 30-second national TV spot. That’s the bar: content that performs across every channel, produced at the speed brands need to move.
The practice extends beyond content into data: agricultural intelligence, commercial site inspection, and the infrastructure layer for brands that need eyes on locations that are too remote, too dangerous, or too expensive to cover on the ground.
07
Vertical 07
GAMING
& eSports.
Gaming is no longer a vertical. It’s the living room, the mall, and the arena — simultaneously. M7 has been making this argument to Fortune 500 executives since before the industry believed it. The firm’s “Gaming is the New Living Room” framework — that gaming is now the dominant entertainment, social, and retail platform for the next generation of consumers — has gone from provocative to self-evident in the time it took most brands to figure out what a Discord server is.
The practice covers brand integration, in-game activation, eSports sponsorship, community strategy, and the emerging layer where gaming, social, and commerce fully converge. Brands that figured this out in 2020 are now two or three platform cycles ahead of the competition.
What M7 Does in Gaming & eSports
In-Game Brand Activations
Branded environments, items, events, and experiences inside the games your audience actually plays — not logo slaps, but native integrations that players engage with willingly.
eSports Sponsorship Strategy
Identifying the right teams, tournaments, and platforms for your brand’s eSports presence — and structuring deals that deliver measurable awareness and community affinity.
Gaming Community Architecture
Discord strategy, streaming presence, and creator partnerships that build genuine community around your brand within gaming culture — not adjacent to it.
Gaming × Commerce Integration
Brand experiences that connect gaming behavior to purchase behavior: loyalty bridges, in-game commerce, and the emerging live shopping layer that Fortnite and Roblox are pioneering.
Executive Education on Gaming
The “why this matters for your brand right now” keynote and workshop — for leadership teams that know gaming is important but don’t know how to act on it yet.
M7 Keynote Topic · Widely Delivered
GAMING IS THE NEW LIVING ROOM, MALL & ARENA
The M7 keynote that reframes gaming for executive audiences — not as a youth marketing channel, but as the dominant entertainment, social, and commerce platform of the next decade. Delivered at industry conferences and private Fortune 500 events. Featured on Spotify’s Campaign Mode podcast.
★ Early & Right
M7 was delivering “Gaming is the New Living Room” keynotes in 2021 — when the idea still required convincing. Fortnite now runs brand concerts attended by millions. Roblox has a luxury fashion economy. The brands that built gaming strategy in 2020–2021 are the ones writing the playbook everyone else is copying now.
What M7 Does in Emerging Media
Platform Intelligence & Readiness
Weekly tracking of new platforms, monetization shifts, algorithm changes, and audience behavior — distilled into the Innovation Brief and applied directly in client strategy.
Spatial Computing Content Strategy
Content architecture for Apple Vision Pro, Meta headsets, and the broader spatial computing ecosystem — what translates, what needs to be rebuilt, and what the native format looks like.
AI-Generated Media Strategy
How to integrate generative video, image, audio, and interactive AI into brand content pipelines — without losing brand consistency or strategic control.
ESG & Digital Sustainability
The energy consumption framework for media and social platforms: who consumes the most, what it costs, and what it means for brands with ESG commitments and sustainability reporting obligations.
Social Algorithm Strategy
Platform-specific content frameworks built around how each algorithm actually works — not best practices from two years ago, but what’s performing on each platform right now.
M7 Keynote Topic · ESG Focus
ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN MEDIA + SOCIAL
The M7 keynote that puts a “media multimeter” against every major platform — quantifying the environmental cost of streaming, social, and digital media in a way executives can use in ESG reporting and strategic platform decisions. Delivered at Sizmek Global Conference and major industry panels.
★ Early & Right
M7 built the CHANEL SnowGlobe as the first-ever Snapchat experience to use haptic shake as a trigger — a capability no other brand had thought to apply. Haptic interfaces are now a standard design consideration in mobile and wearable UX. M7 had a case study in the category before the category had a name.
08
Vertical 08
EMERGING
Media.
Every new platform that matters starts as an emerging media question: Who’s on it? What does the algorithm reward? What’s the monetization trajectory? What does it mean for brands who move now versus brands who wait? M7 has been answering these questions for six years across the Innovation Brief, client work, and research partnerships.
Today the emerging media practice focuses on spatial computing as a content platform, haptic interfaces, AI-generated media, the ESG dimensions of platform energy consumption, and the next wave of social platforms that are forming now. If a platform is going to matter in 18 months, M7 has a POV on it today.
Cross-Vertical Work
THE BEST
WORK LIVES
AT THE
Intersection.
M7’s eight verticals don’t operate in isolation. The most impactful client work happens when two or more technologies combine to create something no single-discipline firm could build. The Bollé AR try-on is an AR/VR + emerging media build. The CHANEL SnowGlobe is AR + emerging media + haptics. The E-Trade flash briefing is voice + IoT + AI.
This is the cross-industry, cross-vertical advantage that M7 has built over six years of doing the work simultaneously across all eight categories. No agency that specializes in one of these verticals can replicate what M7 knows from living in all eight at once.

Why M7 Stays Ahead
THE FOUR
SIGNALS THAT
Change Everything.
Predicting which technologies will matter isn’t difficult if you have the right inputs. M7 has four inputs no single organization — and no single-industry firm — can replicate simultaneously. Together, they form the intelligence engine that powers the Innovation Brief and drives every client engagement.
It’s not opinion. It’s not pattern matching from trade press. It’s what happens when MIT research, developer roadmaps, Fortune 500 behavioral data, and live hardware testing are processed together, every week, for six years.

AI STARTUP PRODUCT ROADMAPS
Direct developer-level access — not the sales deck, the actual roadmap. What ships in 90 days, not what gets announced in a press release.

FORTUNE 500 CLIENT INTELLIGENCE
Anonymized signals from CHANEL, Cox Automotive, and global enterprise clients — what they’re budgeting, building, and shelving in real time.

LIVE HARDWARE TESTING
